Sony interested in iPhone Developer Program and The App Store

PocketGamer has reported that the Sony PSPgo is looking into increase their number of developers– making simpler and cheaper games for their PSN. Similar to the App Store.

They want to make the games costs anywhere from $0.99 to $4.99. In addition to Microsoft, even Sony is trying to expand with its “AppStore”, convincing developers to create iPhone-specific applications for the PSP.

The system will not fail an approval process but will be mainly focused on quality control.
